Pilots' Charred Bodies Recovered After Mountain Crash
In near zero weather rescuers pulled two Navy pilots from an SNB wreck 12 miles north of Elizabethton Tennessee Feb. 2. Lt. James Siler of Pocatello Idaho and Lt. William Harris of Winslow Arizona were identified by ring and dog tag after an 11 day search in heavy snow.
