Danville Illinois February 16 Chance revealed the bodies of two LaFayette Indiana deputy sheriffs missing since February 7 while transporting two youths to a reformatory. Grove and McClure were found near Foster Illinois with Grove shot and McClure killed by a blunt force. a diamond ring remained on McClure’s hand. The two youths Burns and Baxter remain unfound. Two teens from Youngstown were exonerated after fingerprints matched the fugitives.
