Roanoke Va Feb 15 All differences between the Norfolk and Western railway and its locomotive firemen were amicably settled today and there will be no strike. The firemen had threatened to strike over grievances channeled through the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and will now deal directly with the railroad. Joseph I Doran of Philadelphia general counsel for the railway company left Roanoke for his home after negotiations.
