A 42 year old nurse in Los Angeles signed a statement claiming she killed Ranger Texas policeman Jimmy Daniels 25 years ago. Ranger police chief W G Pounds confirmed the case and she was held on murder suspicion after aiding statements from Dr K W Lee and Lt Ed Barrett.
In the Bronx a father Murray Goldberg shot and killed his one year old son and fatally wounded his estranged wife Estelle at a children's shelter during a court-ordered visit.
