Monterey Calif February 12 75 dog mascots from Fort Ord units were offered today by about 20 000 men to donate blood for the life of Laddie a ten year old airedale. A large St Bernard stood by as others offered transfusions and Laddie inched a step from his bed though his temperature remained elevated and vets warned danger persisted.
