Doctor Innocent, Mercer Jury Says
A Mercer County Circuit Court jury found Bluefield obstetrician Dr. M. S. Hajjar not negligent in the October 1981 delivery. The verdict came after about 3 hours 45 minutes of deliberation in a six day malpractice trial. Plaintiffs Michael and Rita Fay Fain plan to appeal to the West Virginia Supreme Court.
