Potter Replaces Hart at Bluefield Country Club

Bill Potter of Pipestem has been hired as pro shop manager and golf course superintendent at Bluefield Country Club, replacing Jack Hart who resigned after six years. Potter, a 53 year old native of upstate New York, will assume club pro duties as he pursues his PGA card. He has prior ties to Pipestem and Alaskan golf programs and plans to settle in Athens while living in Bluefield during the season. John Fox joins Bluefield CC as food manager, a post previously held by Mrs Hart.
