Boy rescued after getting stuck in claw machine at Florida restaurant
In Titusville Florida Mason a young boy crawled inside a claw vending machine in Beef O Brady's play area and became stuck. Off duty firefighter Jeremy House called 911 and fellow firefighters freed him in five minutes. Mason sat atop the toys and was not in distress. The machine sustained minimal damage.

Bank robbery suspect at large after Mercer County theft
Mercer County deputies and state police courted the Bluefield border area after an armed bank robbery at First Community Bank in Bluewell. One suspect was taken into custody after a vehicle linked to the crime was spotted near the Bluefield Bluefield state line, while a second suspect fled on foot as K 9 units combed Crescent View Apartments and nearby Crescent View area. Eyewitnesses described the fleeing man as wearing a wig.

Mercer woman sentenced in sexual abuse case
Stephanie Bailey, 38, of Rock, pleaded guilty to sexual abuse by a parent and was sentenced by Circuit Court Judge William Sadler to one to five years. Bailey's plan to have her boyfriend impregnate a minor prompted the case, with relatives urging leniency and stating she has mental health issues and has changed. The victim blamed Bailey's boyfriend, Michael Watkins, currently jailed in Virginia, for influencing the plan and pleaded for Bailey's return home.
