Exiled opposition leader Kim Dae jung arrived in Seoul to a rough reception with police dragging him and his wife into an elevator and driving them home to house arrest. A U S delegation protested the mistreatment while Reagan officials said his Washington visit remained on. Kim claimed police used violence. his wife said people were shoved but not beaten. About 70 foreign reporters and accompanying Americans were kept on the plane for 20 minutes.
