Porter Secures Pole For Goody's 300 At Daytona

Mike Porter of Princeton West Virginia nailed the pole in Goody's 300 late model sportsman stock car practice at Daytona International Speedway turning 184.569 mph. He will start inside front row beside Geoff Bodine whose time was 182.500 mph. Jody Ridley 182.141 mph Sam Ard 181.415 mph Dale Earnhardt 181.250 mph also qualified.
