Business Women’s Circle meeting notes and budget drive update
The Business Women’s Circle of Tae Ousinees Women’s Circle at West Minster? Baptist assembly met at 7:80 this evening in the annex with a deafened attendance. Reports on the annual budget drive were not fully satisfactory as the contributions were lower than hoped. Luncheons will be held daily at the Y quarters as the drive continues. Dr C G Gunn of Westminister Presbyterian spoke at the luncheon, with an invocation by Rev T J Paters of First Baptist Church. Large attendance and enthusiasm marked the gathering.

Globe Trotters Club Plans Evening Meet and Docking Event
The Globe Trottere club will meet at 7 this evening and at 7 30 proceed to Alec a cottage display room of Appalachian Electric Power Co for a docking plign under Mrs Maude McCulloch. All women and girls are invited. The Hilague Wagner circle at Bland Street Methodist church held a monthly meeting Wednesday at 3 at the home of Mrs G Q Smith with joint hostesses Mrs Wagner and Mrs Smith. Fourteen members attended. Minutes were read by secretary Mrs Reich sr. The devotional used a Bible lesson on The Ministry and Travels of Jesus. An article from World Outlook titled A Prayer for Slum Clearance was read. The treasurer Mrs H B Kitts reported dues and the incidental fund was collected by Mrs D T DeLamater. The program for February auxiliary was discussed by Mrs Wagner. After adjournment delicious treats were served. The March meeting will be at Mrs J S Sub lite Highland avenue.

Pythian Sisters Meet and Missionary Plans in Bluefield
The Pythian Sisters Bluefield temple 83 will meet tonight at 7 30 at Pythian hall with all officers and members urged to attend. The Women Missionary Union of the First Christian church met Wednesday afternoon with hymns and talks on Africa missions. Louis Anderson sang a solo and Mrs Truth Tale gave a paper on missionary work in Africa. Mrs H Uray Russell announced a visit to Bluefield on Sunday February 18 from Africa and Mrs Mussell read a letter from Mrs Rue Gell. The meeting closed with benediction and a prayer day was set by the union.
