Edward Lee Fielder, 27, labeled dangerous, unexpectedly pled guilty to first degree murder in Mercer County Intermediate Court. A fatal shooting occurred at the Silver Slipper on Roanoke Street in Bluefield Friday night. Ronald Lee Hurt, 20, of Nash Street, was found mortally wounded by a .32 caliber bullet, and police planned to issue a warrant for a Bluefield resident based on three eyewitness reports.
