Six Company L Infantry Members Discharged at Camp Shelby
Six members of Company L, 150th United States Infantry, formerly the West Virginian National Guard unit of Bluefield, were discharged at Camp Shelby, Mississippi. The state department of military census and enrollment advised the local exemptions board. All enlisted voluntarily in the National Guard. a questionnaire will be supplied to each.

The War Savings Stamp Limit Club gained five new members totaling thirty six pledged to buy the limit of War Savings Stamps before year end. New members are Mrs Elizabeth Elliott Mrs R W Honaker Dr J D McCue John P Houston and Geo S Strader. A new stamp agency opened at United Woollen Mills in Bluefield bringing total agencies to 105. Fairview school reports 2700 thrift stamps purchased by 400 pupils averaging 1.75 per pupil since card distribution.
