Bland County delegates back incinerator concerns at hearing

Bland County officials and residents traveled to Richmond for a House Conservation and Natural Resources hearing on a two year moratorium plan blocking new medical waste incinerators. Frank Chandler III said the board opposes placement in the county citing groundwater contamination risks and inadequate studies.
