Man Pleads Guilty In Richlands Shooting Case
In Tazewell County Circuit Court Randy Lee Keen pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter for the June 1982 shooting death of James Lankford at a Seaboard residence near Richlands. A firearm within an occupied building charge was dropped. Sentencing includes five years with two suspended, plus revocation of two years on a prior drug sentence, and court costs. Dennis Ellis Keen pleaded guilty to three grand larceny charges totaling five years in prison with costs. a marijuana possession with intent to distribute charge was not prosecuted.

Break-In At GTE Princeton Office Nets $10 Cash
Weekend break-in at the General Telephone office in Princeton Shopping Center netted thieves $10. Police Lt. W R Davis said suspects forced a side door Saturday night or Sunday and opened a half-ton safe. At least two people are believed involved. The theft was found Sunday by an office custodian.
