Frank Dent's body was found buried near his Cashmere Peters town home after he had been missing since last Saturday. Griggs a 74 year old boarder remained in hospital from shock as officers questioned him. He said he slept in a corn shack last Saturday night.

Fire damages Bluefield home on College Drive
A fire at the home of Charles Belcher on College Drive Bluefield Virginia occurred at 5 a.m. yesterday drawing the Bluefield volunteer fire department. The blaze started in the living room couch and was brought under control in one hour and ten minutes. Damages were not yet estimated but living room furniture was lost and the house suffered smoke and water damage.
