Demolition on part of the old state Division of Highways building progressed after Christmas as Empire Salvage works on the Mercer County Courthouse Annex project in Princeton. Architect Todd Boggess says the site is cleaned up and the project will take about a year with a $4.2 million loan at 3.50 percent for 20 years. Magistrate Courts staff have moved to the Tom Lilly law building during construction.
