Rites Held Friday for Paynesville Lad Victim of Hunting Accident
Last rites were held in Paynesville cemetery for 19 year old Columbus Lester of Paynesville. He accidentally shot himself while hunting in the mountains Wednesday when his shotgun tripped and discharged striking him in the stomach. He was a Taeger high school graduate and survived by his parents Mr and Mrs Paris Lester and several brothers and sisters. His dog kept watch beside him as he crawled through the snow after the accident before a passerby found him an hour later.

Funeral services for Will Hunt age 69 will be held at 2 o clock Sunday in the United Holiness church at Superior. He died Thursday in a local hospital after 18 years residence in Superior. His widow Lillian Hunt survives with two sons Ben Hunt of Franklin County Virginia and Howard Hunt of Superior and three daughters Ari zing Phillips of Pittsburgh Susie Hendricks of Superior and Merle Sanders of Welch.
