West Virginia shifts to electronic hunting and fishing licenses
The Charleston Gazette reports that West Virginia will switch from paper hunting and fishing licenses to a unified electronic system on January 1, 2015. DNA officials, with JMT Technology, will issue printouts from agents or home printers while preserving a paper license. Lifetime license holders and landowners must obtain DNA ID numbers by set deadlines, and new rules enable online or phone-based check-ins for game.
