Consolidation Coal Company has filed an application to disturb about 17.0 acres on Crane Creek of Bluestone River, 0.42 miles northwest of McComas, West Virginia, in Mercer County. The land is owned by Pocahontas Land Corporation with contiguous subsurface interests held by Pocahontas. The notice lists extensive officer and director addresses and requires written protests within 30 days to the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources. A copy of the application will be available until February 4, 1982 at the Welch field office.
