In Davao Philippines firefighters recovered one body from a burning four story NCCC Mall and said zero chances of survival for 36 trapped employees on the top floor. Mayor Sarah Duterte Carpio said investigators will determine the cause and possible criminal liability. The blaze began on the third floor amid a storm and floods, with the public urged to pray as relief efforts continue. President Duterte appeared at the scene with family members as authorities work to locate all missing. The storm also caused heavy casualties across the southern Philippines.
