Bluefield Christmas Shopping Day in 1960s Era Town
A vivid reminiscence of a Bluefield shopping trip with family. The narrator recalls a cold morning, a new car with a powerful V eight engine, and visits to local shops from Gulf station to Woolworth and Kresge. The day culminates with brownies, a festive town center, and anticipation for family gatherings and a Daily Telegraph column by Larry Hypes.
