Investors push stocks higher amid terror alert

Wall Street rose to fresh 52 week highs as investors bought ahead of the Christmas holiday. The Dow gained 59.78 to 10,338.00, the Nasdaq rose 4.78 to 1,955.80, and the S P 500 edged up 4.28 to 1,092.94 as markets welcomed potential 2004 growth despite heightened security concerns.
