Gillespie renamed to three-year term on ASC Committee
Jim Sam Gillespie Jr a prominent Tazewell County farmer is named chairman of the Tazewell County ASC Committee for 1982 and will serve a third term. The slate includes vice chairman Charles P Robertson and regular member William M Pridgen with alternates C G Jones Jr and Glen Peery. The panel administers programs such as wheat feed grain tobacco and emergency aid and assumes office in January.
