FDA targets high risk homeopathic remedies to curb harm
U S health officials propose stricter regulation of unproven homeopathic products especially those marketed for children or serious diseases. The plan focuses on remedies with dangerous ingredients while most low risk items would stay on the market. FDA cites teething tablets linked to seizures and deaths and past Zicam zinc-containing products as examples of safety concerns.
