West Virginia to receive 253500 from Bristol-Myers Squibb settlement
Attorney General Patrick Morrisey said West Virginia will get 253500 from a 19.5 million settlement with Bristol-Myers Squibb over alleged promotion of the anti-psychotic drug Ability for unapproved uses. Forty-two states participated in the case. Ability is FDA approved for schizophrenia and other disorders in adults and children. California alleged promotion for unapproved uses on children and elderly with dementia.
