Exodus of Arafat supporters begins evacuation from Lebanon

Abduction at Bastian Food Mart Ends With Escape

Lloyd Tomlinson, a night manager at Bastian Sentry Food Mart No 3, recounted a Friday night ordeal in which a masked gunman pressed a .44 Magnum to his face as he locked up. Forced into a car, he was blindfolded with tape and led through Wolfe Creek Mountain before escaping. Randy Gibson, the other clerk, aided his escape as the pair were driven away at knife point. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. and left Tomlinson shaken but unharmed.
