Teaching Evolution Creation Together in Kanawha Schools
In Kanawha County West Virginia public schools teachers present both evolution and biblical creation as theories to avoid conflict with fundamentalists. The program began in the 1970s with creationist texts from a San Diego center, while science texts affirm evolution. Critics call it unscientific and not a true discussion of science.
