Operators in the Logan field allege Chesapeake and Ohio Railway failed to supply cars, causing a November tonnage drop to 161 265 from October's 192 585. They cite holidays and a short month but say the loss exceeds those factors and accuse discrimination in favor of Kanawha operators. Island Creek leads with over half the production while fifteen smaller mines vary from 320 to 7 840 tons. Some owners call for an official inquiry.
