East African crafts boost BC pottery sale at Bluefield College
Bluefield College students staged an international flavor at the annual pottery and crafts sale. East African pieces purchased by missionaries Webster and Betty Carroll aimed to stimulate the local economy during decades of service in Africa. Senior Josh Grubb, a Max Meadows native, graduates today and will start work in Radford. He praised the project and the chance to learn about East African art while working with Carrolls.
