Kaine proposes pilot program prioritizing women care and affordable insurance

Kaine outlines a pilot plan focusing on women’s care including free breast and cervical cancer screenings for over 1000 women aged 18 to 44. Angel Tree drive raises funds for Mercer County deputies

Mercer County Deputy Sheriffs Association volunteers shopped for 407 items at over $5,500, aiding 30 angels. The effort marks the third year of the program with 78 angels still on trees in Princeton and Bluefield. Distribution planned Dec 18 and 19 at local locations.
