Brooklyn street fight leaves two officers shot
A lively fight on Carlton avenue Brooklyn ended with two policemen shot and a man identified as J E Murphy beaten. Murphy resisted arrest for holding up a boy and fired at Officer Quin injuring the hip. Officer O Connor was wounded also. Patrolman Patton subdued Murphy after a heavy clubbing.
