Wert to face sentencing in Mercer after year on run
A Mercer County man, Larry Wert, 52, of Princeton, who fled justice on July 10, 2003, was captured in San Antonio on November 5 and is expected back in Mercer County within a week to face sentencing on his sexual assault conviction. Wert was convicted June 1, 2003, of one count of first degree sexual assault and multiple counts of sexual abuse and incest.

Larry Wert, 52, of Princeton, captured in San Antonio on Nov. 5 after fleeing justice since July 10, 2003. Convicted June 1, 2003, Wert waived extradition and has been held by Texas authorities awaiting U S Marshals transport for sentencing.
