Eight killed as gunman opens fire at Omaha mall
A 20 year old man named Robert Hawkins opened fire from a third floor balcony at Von Maur in Westroads Mall, killing eight shoppers before taking his own life. Five others were wounded two critically as witnesses described chaos and shoppers taking cover in dressing rooms. Police say the motive is unknown and a suicide note was found at his home.
