Jonathan Powell Hope Foundation aids neuroblastoma families
Jonathan Powell died of neuroblastoma Oct 19 and his parents Tim and Melissa Powell launched a foundation to aid diagnosed children. Princeton Wal-Mart selected the charity as Good Works Holiday Charity 2002 with a 7 am to noon sale percent of net proceeds. Attorney Omar Aboulhosn notes funds support pediatric stem cell transplants at Duke and other needs like daycare and lodging for families. Funds are in place with free accounts and tax-exempt status pending.
