Monroe board appoints principal of new school
Monroe County Board of Education at Union named Larry Mustain principal of Mountain View Elementary Middle. He will coordinate transitions from Union Elementary and Gap Mills into the new facility slated for August 1999. Lois McCutcheon supported the lice policy and offered to enforce a no nit policy if required. The board approved budget actions, contracts, and a Peterstown Elementary renovation funding discussion. They set the next meeting for December 14 at Gap Mills School with a Christmas concert beforehand.
