Bluefield police search for a man who shot Lincoln Reed of Rock in a fight near Mercer street and Bluefield avenue. Reed was treated and released from Buinefield Sanitarium. An alleged accomplice, Oscar Vernon Ratcliff of Pocahontas Va., was being held for investigation. Officers describe the shooter as about six feet tall, 165 pounds, with wavy black hair and a possible glass eye, wearing a red and white jacket.
