Bailey Log House reunion and dedication celebration noted

Irvin Rich led the reconstruction of the Bailey Log House moved from Bluefield to the Sanders site. Community support, grant funding efforts, and involvement from Bailey and Harvey Bailey descendants marked the 2012 dedication, with remarks by local leaders and a Girl Scout carol group performing at the Christmas Open House.

Reassessment to determine 2018 real estate taxes in Tazewell County

Hearings are Dec 4 to Dec 14 at 197 Main Street, with an Equalization Board and possible circuit court review. West Virginia and Mercer County use different assessment rules and caps.
