Nichols pleads guilty to perjury in decade-old triple homicide
Sheri Lyn Nichols 44 of Bluefield Virginia pleaded guilty to one count of perjury tied to the 1991 trial Commonwealth versus Samuel Ealy in Tazewell County Circuit Court. The perjury carries up to 10 years. sentencing set for March 11 while Nichols remains free on bond. Ealy was acquitted in state court for the Davis family murders but later found guilty in federal court on three counts of capital murder.
