Concert Unequaled in City History Showcased by Ronconi Pupils
An evening at the city auditorium featured eighteen numbers by Signor Ronconi students under the Lions Club. Renowned vocalists Mrs. Virginia Counts, Miss Frances Martin, Miss Arline Byrd, Miss Thelma Kinser, and others delivered operatic arias and popular songs with refined tone. Duets and ensembles by Mrs. George Daniel, Miss Eva Amato, and John Pennel drew praise, while Miss Holroyd provided notable accompaniment. The program closed with a Donizetti sextet tribute, marking a memorable musical showcase for Bluefield.
