Suspect escapes second story during court proceedings
KINGWOOD AP A Kingwood man was charged with escape after leaping from a second story courtroom window during a car theft case. Steven Edward Myers 18 fled Barbour County Magistrate Court after a talk with his attorney, then was arrested later near Five Forks in Preston County. He was arraigned on felony escape and returned to Barbour County. The car thefts remain under investigation.
