Smith sentencing set today in Bluefield
Rodney Eugene Smith 63 of Ballard faces sentencing in U S District Court Bluefield after a Sept 6 conviction on 15 federal counts including firearm possession by a felon and passing false bills of exchanges. A self represented defendant challenged federal government corporate existence while a federal jury found him guilty on all counts. Sentencing is set for 11 a m.
