Twiford adopts merchant marine path after world voyage
Princeton teen Jonathan Twiford, a Hargrave alumnus, completed a nine month world cruise as a U S Merchant Marine Academy cadet. Nominated for Naval Academy, he chose Kings Point after Byrd’s suggestion, now a junior marine engineering student planning a career in merchant marines and Navy Reserve. He notes sea pay of 20 dollars daily and aims to travel the world while keeping Princeton as his home.
