Probable cause found in attempted murder case
Bluefield man Stacy E. Burrell faces attempted murder and malicious assault charges after a woman was attacked near Brush Creek Falls Bridge on Oct. 17. Mercer County magistrate Susan Honaker ruled probable cause at a Friday hearing, sending the case to the Mercer County Grand Jury. Burrell is free on bond.
