City Methodist Union Formed By Local Youth Groups
Youth Fellowship groups from three local Methodist churches met at Trinity church to form a City Methodist union. Louise Brewer was chosen chairman with Betty Armbrister as secretary-treasurer and Helen Mills as publicity superintendent. The program was led by Jack White with refreshments served by Mrs. Armbrister and Mrs. E M White. The meeting included a candlelit service themed There’s a Song to Sing and a Bible-centered mood. The group plans monthly meetings, next at Bland Street on December 28.
