Beavers Seek seventh state title in fifth straight decade
Bluefield High School faces Musselman in Wheeling Island Stadium for the Class AA championship. Coach Fred Simon leads Bluefield, ranked third, into a landmark title bid as the Beavers pursue a seventh state crown and a fifth consecutive decade of titles. Musselman, the Cinderella of Class AA, counters with a two 1,000 yard rushers, aiming to ruin Bluefield's bid and extend the drama of the Super Six weekend in Wheeling.
