Wildfire blocks Yellowstone entrance in Grand Teton area
Firefighters fought a Grand Teton National Park blaze that has closed Yellowstone's south entrance near Jackson. Crews cleared trees, searched for hotspots, and protected campgrounds and archaeological sites while monitoring for flare ups. Winds toppled trees, prompting travel cautions on open roads as the fire burns on Jackson Lake's west side. Joel Dugger and six others have worked 16 days, living in tents, to contain the fire and prevent re burns in green areas.
