Princeton to Open Modern City Firing Range on Hurricane Ridge
Princeton police prepare a new eight-target firing range on Hurricane Ridge two miles from Route 20 near the Dr. Daniel Hale Reservoir. Built on five acres, the facility features night lights, eight electronically controlled targets, a supervising tower, and a 12 by 14 storage building. Completion is expected mid September with a Sept 19 dedication by Gov. Rockefeller. The range, designed by Sgt. W R Davis, will support safety training and gun-safety classes for residents, funded by donated labor and materials from local firms.
