Meowing Kitten Found Behind SUV Dashboard in New Jersey
In Rockaway Township New Jersey a motorist heard meowing from her SUV and discovered a four month old gray tabby cat had crawled into a hole behind the glove box and behind the dashboard. Animal control officer Dan McDonald and veterinarian Steven Hodes helped free the stray. The driver’s name was not released.

Wyoming County man found dead at mine substation
Kirby Ray Williams, 29, of Pineville, was found by a mine employee at 7:45 a.m. near a Pinnacle Mine substation on the Wyoming McDowell county line. Authorities believe he entered the remote substation by cutting the fence, possibly dying around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday during a power outage. The sheriff noted copper thefts are common but this is the first fatality of the year.
