Four Lane Route 460 changes lives in Mercer County
Charles Boothe recalls the impact of converting old two lane Route 460 to a four lane highway through Mercer County. He notes lost homes, changed communities, and vanished landmarks around Kellysville, Oakvale, Littlesburg, and nearby areas, contrasting progress with personal nostalgia. He reflects on faster travel to Bluefield and the broader pace of modern life, while mourning what was lost.
